Get Going
Don't even think of setting an alarm. Let your body make that decision or leave the curtains open and rise with the Caribbean sunshine. Swap a shower for a splash in the sea. Head to the hearty buffet breakfast Kenrick whipped up for you – wholesome and simple, with plenty of fresh organic offerings from our own orchard.
Since you wisely didn't book some long tiring tour, you can go claim a spot on our prime stretch of Seven Mile Beach and let out an Epic Exhale while island music fills the air. Michael will get you a sunbrella and clue you in on some cool wanderings. Maybe you'll spend the rest of the day here, maybe not. Think about it over a virgin (or not) frozen drink. Open your eyes now and then to scan the sea – you may well spot a school of glittering fish skipping across the waves, a turtle coming up for a breath, or dolphins spiraling into the air. Yeah. Wow.
Get Out There
So, what will it be? A parasailing ride and the Selfie of the Century? A fun and gorgeous shoreline walk to town to mingle with the locals, pick up some Jamaican slang, and maybe get invited to a home for dinner (be smart, accept only from an established vendor, not a street passerby)? An expedition to the Roaring River, a natural wonder amid a 17th-century British plantation?Or how about more of this awesome XCO plan: in which case, grab our free shuttle or a cheap cab ride over to Samsara, where you have full privileges, and put yourself in Lovely Lesia's hands for an open-air, seafront massage. Get sexy about it and make it a couple's massage. By the time you get back home, you'll be ready for some Happy Hour R & R at the beach bar.
Next, if you're planning on a Big Night or maybe just because you can, this is a good time for a recharging nap.
Bring On the NightChoose between the third big buffet meal of the day or ask for a private dinner on the beach. Or you can head to town for a cookout and a reggae concert. Either way, don't miss the sunset!
DANCE. We mean it! You'll never forget this moment. And wherever you eat, be adventurous about it. Go beyond your comfort zone of jerk chicken – try curried goat, pumpkin rice, Rasta lasagna, and...? Your tastebuds could use a break from routine, too.
Join us after dinner for a favorite tradition – sending up wish lanterns into the starry, starry night. Gather on the beach into the wee hours with new friends, drinks, and music. At some point, wade into the sea with your partner and make out in the moonlight. Once you make it back to your room – well you don't need our help with that.
